
ENEO Energy of Cameroon, the historic electricity operator for Cameroon.
We coordinated and deployed MULTIPATH, Kyriba and BYPATH, in a project that began in 2015.
It was a major project requiring the implementation of complete cash management and bank reconciliation.

MAJOR STAKES the optimisation of the Finance Department including the implementation of computer systems, in particular the cash management and bank reconciliation positions in order to:
- manage/guarantee the company’s liquidities and control flows,
- check daily payment monitoring in the country’s 160 branches,
- build cash flow forecasts aggregated by due date and type,
- have analysis tools compatible with the company’s analysis strategy,
- control relationships with banks,
- anticipate financial balances and manage financial risks.
REASONS:
- the absence of a cash management and bank reconciliation solution, these were managed manually using Excel spreadsheets,
- the absence of a system to retrieve daily electronic bank statements,
- management difficulties and low productivity caused by the volumes, in particular for cash flow monitoring and checking bank conditions
REQUIRED SERVICES:
- an audit of the existing situation,
- an analysis of the flows and internal procedures,
- recommendations for the deployment of a cash management and accounts reconciliation software solution using the daily automatic input of the bank statements from all partner banks,
- the implementation of interface procedures with internal applications.
SERVICES AND SOLUTIONS DEPLOYED BY PATH FINANCE:
- the audit of the Financial Department, both in terms of internal organisation (software used and operating procedures) and in terms of local banking relationships,
- the configuration, test and acceptance of the software solutions,
- the analysis and development of the required interfaces between software solutions,
- the training, support and roll-out to production of the complete solution.
